Skirt- Beauty Fiend
Petticoat- Handmade by Tchipakkan

Another example of the Black Academy uniform. I really ought to write a story centered there at some point.
I feel a bit unproper lifting up my skirt in this picture, but it gives you a good view of my flannel underthings. Ah, flannel. How warm you keep my bottom.

Nothing special

Hat- Hot Topic
Badge- Nancy Buttons
Collar-Agway
Shirt- Jinx
Undershirt-Faded Glory
Gloves-Handmade by Tchipakkan
Belt- Five Below
Buckle- Fun Buckles
Jeans- Old Navy Diva
Boots- Demonia

I put a nearly embarassing amount of thought into what badge to put on my hat. I considered "the little red button of doom", but went with "Born Cute, Now Cuter" because the hat is cuter with a badge on it.

I am a giant!

Hat- Hot Topic
Collar-Agway
Tie-Puritian
Vest-Hot Topic
Shirt- Target, safety pins added
Jeans: L.E.I.
Suspenders- Hot Topic
Gloves-Hot Topic
Platforms: X²B

What you can't see in this picture is that these platforms are six inches tall. I spent the day doing strange things I never expected to do. Look my sister in the eye. Take thing off high shelves. Trip up the stairs.
These posts make it look like I shop at Hot Topic alot more than I actually do.

A little rockabilly.

Headband- Handmade
Tie-Wild Ties

There was a buckle on the headband but it slid out of place.
Scarf- Dharma
Cameo- Cabochons
Vest- Tripp
Undershirt- Faded glory
Skirt-Stephanie Queller
Socks- Hot Topic (if I remember correctly)

I don't think I've ever worn this skirt before. I had several thoughts as I got dressed. One was, I do not want fabric over my skinned knee, it hurts. Then I thought, business executive at a company that sells gothic wear. Then I thought, I wish I had a headband with a buckle on it.

 Tie- Elite

Gloves- Dollar store
Jeans- Faded Glory
Boots-White Stag

My Chemical Romance has some good songs, but I love their outfits. Suits are great. And a bunch of suits together becomes a uniform. And that's a classy uniform.
I have a concept for a school that I may never use in my fiction, in which their uniform is black shirts, pants, vests and blazers, with a red tie. The tie would be striped with black for upperclassmen. Girls would have the option of wearing black skirts with red stockings instead of pants.
This school would not excel at sports, but their marching band would be excellent.

Valentine Lolita

Hairbows-Dharma, handdyed by Willow
Cravat- Handmade by me
Blouse- Handmade by Willow
Highwaisted skirt- Handmade by me
stockings- Basketman
Maryjanes- Earthshoe

I'm trying to show the use of varied length petticoats to make the cupcake shape again.
I didn't actually notice everything I was wearing was handmade when I got dressed. ^^; I suppose this would be a good time to mention that I am selling custom-made and designed lolita dresses to look lovely with various figures and budgets.
Okay, so I've put more effort into attractive with various figures than attractive with various budgets.

Nightgown

Cap- Zook's Dutch Novelities
Nightgown- Handmade by Tchpakkan
Socks-Basketman

I designed that nightgown to resemble a Moi-Meme-Moite design.
... Oh crap. I think that might be the closest to lolita I've worn since starting this blog. I usually wear a little bit more than that.

Wearable Again.

I did in fact lose three days to having my head encased in mucus.

But I back in action and fully clothed.

Hat- Hot Topic
Turtleneck- Babble Brook
Vest- Tripp
Gloves-Dollar Store
Skirt- Rave
Jeans- Faded Glory
Boots-Demonia

I was rather pleased by this outfit, being cute and warm, and it made use of both a skirt that is normally too short to wear and jeans which I love the fit of but I needed to patch in the back.

Blaaargh. Yesterday I started to come down with something, and today it really took hold. In all likelyhood, tomorrow you'll see my nightgown.

Punk with a petticoat

Hat- Hot Topic
Collar- Agway. It's a dog collar.
Tie- Westwater
Shirt- Old Glory (Walmart)
Petticoats- Costume stores
Cincer- Deb
Stockings-The Basketman
Gloves- Dollar store
Ring- handmade by me
Boots- Demonia

I'm wearing two petticoats today. It's hard to tell since I'm sitting down in this picture, but wearing a short crinoline layered over a knee-length A-line petticoat helps you get that proper lolita shape. A gothic lolita can get away with an A-line, (in my opinion and observation)
Anyway, this isn't lolita. This isn't even punk loli.

Willow says I'm trying harder because of the blog. That may be. I am wearing makeup this morning.

First post.

Alright. I'm sure I'll get the hang of this eventually.
Vest-Tripp
Shirt- Old Glory
Jeans- "the Diva" Old Navy
Gloves- Off-brand, Hot Topic
Boots-Demonia

I already feel like a tool. Something about knowing what brand made my clothing makes me uncomfortable. I'm pretty sure it's that and not the boning in the vest. It's actually pretty comfortable, all things considered. It fits more like a corset than a vest, but in order to be a corset, (in my opinion, at least) it needs to give support and you need to be able to wear it as an undergarment. The studs and buckles are not fitting under anything less than a jacket. This is a vest. I'm not sure I'd even call it a bodice.

Hey, I ranted about my clothing. Great. That's today's entry.
I am Kittywitch and I approve this outfit.
